SVN’s technology was utilised during SABMiller’s launch of Miller Genuine Draft into South Africa, to facilitate the live broadcast of the launch simultaneously to three different venues around the country.

SVN offers both technical and consulting services including the design, supply and installation of specialized lighting equipment. With extensive experience in the professional lighting industry, SVN’s lighting division offers consulting services incorporating issues such as equipment specifications and installations.

SVN lighting has successfully completed projects for a number of professional entertainment facilities including casinos, theatres, night clubs and theme parks in Dubai as well as numerous international live shows and concerts i.e. Jean Michel Jarre, UB40, The 5FM birthday concert and Paul Simon to name a few.

They have also been responsible for the lighting requirements for television production studios working on shows such as “Who Wants to be a Millionaire”, the Lotto show, “Road to Riches” YoTV, 3 Tallk, Friends Like These and Castle Loud.
Spectrum has recently completed the refurbishment of the Kasbar nightclub and the Rooftop terrace bar at the One and Only Royal Mirage in Dubai (U.A.E).

Prime360Media – a new digital media network comprising 50 360˚ display units and 100 3D screens which is projected to grow quite significantly.

Primedia Outdoor – SVN run and manage the plasma screen network at the Johannesburg Domestic Arrivals conveyor belts.

Sifikile/Department of Labour – in conjunction with Sifikile we have rolled out a 140+ plasma screen network countrywide for the Department of Labour to be used for information, internal communications and training

Mediatalk – rollout and network management of a 20+ digital advertising screen network in Medicross clinics and a 12+ screen network in public hospitals and clinics

Out in Africa – organisers of a number of film festivals, including South Africa’s largest festival the Gay & Lesbian Film Festival and Encounters, which SVN have run digitally for a number of years.

FNB - Biznet
Spectrum produced and broadcast a number of live panel discussions centred around SME entrepreneurship for FNB.

ABI (Coca Cola)
Spectrum has been responsible for the post-production for a number of internal corporate videos produced for Coca-cola.

McCains Spectrum has produced a number of digital cinema commercials for McCains, the most recent being a joint promotion with Ice Age 2.

Valpre Water
Post-production work was done on the internal launch of the new Valpre packaging launch video.

Urban Studios
Spectrum has developed software for a number of gameshows, which have been broadcast live from Urban brew studios; as well as supply and consulting services for studio lighting.

Ster-Kinekor
Spectrum has been working closely with Ster-kinekor now for a number of years, specifically with Independent Pictures, we have released over 8 titles so far, including 6 HD features.

An additional benefit of having digital projection equipment in cinema theatres is the ability to re-purpose the venue for presentations and corporate communications; working on this basis Spectrum has run a number of live satellite broadcasts for various corporate clients, broadcasting into cinemas all over South Africa.
