Overview
Genie is an integrated E-Cinema server system, designed to
work in conjunction with Genesis for receipt of play lists and
media. It is designed primarily for the screening of pre-show
material, film festivals, and independent HD movies. It will
accommodate both SD (Standard Definition) and HD (High Definition)
material.
Genie is also compatible with almost all existing Cinema
audio systems, allowing for easy integration into the projection
booth. A further feature of Genie is a fully integrated auditing
system which works in conjunction with Genesis to provide live, up
to date information from all Genie servers.

Film Festivals
Genie Cinema Servers have been used extensively over the last 5 years to run Film Festivals. This is because the majority og material used in festivals is supplied in a digital format, or the 35mm is simply not available. Some the advantages for festivals are:
- Server can store up to 50 titles
- Each show can be different
- Festival can run concurrently in more that one city
- Individual shows can be made up of multiple titles
- Screening schedule can be changed at last minute to accomodate demand
